Hi, I'm Monica,

the founder of MUD Cleaning.

Before starting MUD Cleaning, I spent nine years running my own bridal business. Working with brides taught me that the smallest details often make the biggest difference. Every appointment, every gown and every customer experience required precision, organisation and genuine care. Those same values still shape the way I do business today.

When I became a mum, my priorities naturally shifted. It felt like the right time to close my bridal chapter with gratitude and build something new that allowed me to be present for my family while turning something I'd always enjoyed into a business of my own.

Cleaning has always had a place in my life. While I was building my bridal business, I also worked as a cleaner on the side. It started as a way to earn extra income, but I quickly realised I genuinely enjoyed it. I loved the satisfaction of transforming a home and seeing the difference a thorough clean could make to someone's day. Before long, I realised I wanted to combine the business experience I'd gained with something I truly enjoyed. That's how MUD (AKA. My Ultimate Domestics) Cleaning was born.

I've proudly called Brisbane home for over 18 years and love serving the community my family and I are part of. As a busy mum myself, I understand how hectic life can be, and I know the difference it makes to come home to a clean, welcoming space.

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband and son or taking a ballet class. Ballet has been an enduring passion of mine and has taught me the value of discipline, consistency and attention to detail. Those qualities find their way into every part of my business. 

​

I'm also a proud Brisbane Lions supporter, absolutely love dachshunds, and I'm more than happy to leave most of the cooking to my husband! If you hear music while I'm cleaning, there's a good chance it'll be an '80s or '90s playlist. I think a great clean and a great soundtrack are the perfect combination.
